Felicitas L Alegria

Donna- Felicitas L. Alegria, was born on July 13, 1948 in La Sara, TX, and peacefully passed away on August 30, 2023, in Donna, TX at the age of 75. She was a compassionate and loving woman who touched the lives of many.

Felicitas, known to her beloved family and friends as "Chicha," was a woman of great faith. She was a devoted Christian who found solace and strength through her unwavering relationship with God. Her days were filled with heartfelt prayers, and she always sought to bring peace and love into the lives of those around her.

As a mother, Felicitas was a pillar of support and love for her children. She cherished her role as a mother and dedicated herself to their well-being. She leaves behind a legacy of love and values that will guide her children: son Orlando Alegria, son Aron (Elizabeth) Alegria, son Omar (Angelica) Alegria, daughter San Juanita (Catarino) Cruz, daughter Chriscelda (Leonel) Cortez, daughter Daliah (Librado Zuniga) Alegria, daughter Delilah Alegria, daughter Deliah Alegria, and her dear siblings: brother Juan Lopez, brother Leopoldo Lopez, brother Roberto Lopez, brother Eddie Lopez, and sister Juanita Lopez.

Felicitas dedicated her life to serving the community, working in the Donna ISD and touching the lives of numerous children. She possessed a warm and nurturing personality that endeared her to all who knew her. Her culinary talents brought joy to many gatherings, as she delighted in sharing delicious meals with her loved ones.

Though she exuded strength and determination, Felicitas had a charming and lighthearted side to her personality. She could always be counted on to bring a smile to everyone's face with her silliness and contagious laughter. Her humor brought joy to those around her, and her presence will be greatly missed.

The funeral service to honor the life of Felicitas L. Alegria will held on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of Grace. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 10:00 am at Templo Lugar Para Cristo in Donna, Texas. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Felicitas L. Alegria will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire and uplift those who carry her memory in their hearts. May she rest in eternal peace and continue to shower her love upon her family and friends from above.
