Adolfo Quintanilla

Weslaco, Texas - Adolfo Quintanilla, 80, passed away to be with the Lord on July 26, 2023 peacefully at his residence.

Mr. Quintanilla was born on August 2, 1942 in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas to Mr. Jose Antonio Quintanilla & Mrs. Josefa Cavazos.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers Jose Quintanilla and Manuel Quintanilla.

Adolfo Quintanilla is survived by his lovely wife of 59 years, his sons; Mario Alberto Quintanilla, Jose Antonio Quintanilla and Adolfo Quintanilla Jr., his daughters; Graciela Quintanilla, Hilda Guadalupe (Jose Luis) Acuna, Maria (Jose Luis) Hernandez, and Maria Leticia Quintanilla, his brothers; Ramon Quintanilla, Antonio Quintanilla and Rigoberto Quintanilla, and his sister Enrestina Fuentes. Also Surviving him are 26 grandchildren and 22 great granchildren.

Visitation for Adolfo Quintanilla is scheduled for Thursday, August 03, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco - Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Serivice is scheduled for Friday, August 4,2023 at 10:00 AM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco-Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
