Alberto Ramiro Ybarra

Edcouch - Alberto “Albert” Ramiro Ybarra, 49, passed away at McAllen Medical Center on August 15, 2020. He was born October 25, 1970 in Edinburg to Abel Ramiro and Rosa Ybarra. Albert enjoyed life and his work at UT-RGV in Edinburg. He was considered a dedicated, hard-working family man. Among his passions were hunting, fishing, and traveling. His friends and coworkers had “much fun working with him.” He was considered “one of a kind and admired by many.” Albert will be missed by his family and friends.

Albert is survived by his wife, Liliana Sanchez; sons, Angel Ramiro Ybarra and Abram Jesus Ybarra; and daughter, Andrea Leah Ybarra. He is also survived by his parents, Abel Ramiro and Rosa Ybarra; brothers, Arnold (Socoro) Ybarra, Abel Ramiro (Hortencia) Ybarra, and Alonzo (Olga) Ybarra; sisters, Rosalia (Jose) Hinojosa, Virginia (Omar) Castelan, Edna Ybarra; and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Oliel.

Cremation will be held at a later date, and inurnment at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco will also be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 9:00 am.
