Weslaco- Alfredo Mendez, 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at McAllen Heart Hospital in McAllen Texas.

Mr. Mendez was born on January 12, 1952 in Mexico to Mr. Soltero Mendez & Mrs. Estanislda Herrera Mendez.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Left to cherish his memories is his sons: Jose Alberto (Nora) Mendez, Jorge Alberto (Elena) Mendez, Juan Antonio (Jessica) Mendez, Jesus Alejandro (Lisa) Mendez;his daughters: Victoria (Guadalupe) Meave & Christina (Jose G.) Alonzo; his mother Estanislda Herrera Mendez; his brothers: Francisco Mendez, Ruben Mendez & Joel Mendez; his sisters: Theresa Hernandez, Amalia Mendez, Francisca Mendez, Guadalupe Mendez & Nora Alica Mendez; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Alfredo Mendez is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Cremation will follow at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
