Alicia Ruiz

San Juan- Alicia G. Ruiz, 82, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances Hospice Facility in Edinburg, Texas.

Mrs. Ruiz was born on April 13, 1941 to Mr. Fileberto R. Garcia and Mrs. Amalia Olivo in Donna, Texas.

Mrs. Ruiz is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Fileberto R. Garcia and Mrs. Amalia Olivo; her loving husband, Juan Jose Ruiz and her brother, Pedro Olivo Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Daniel (Belen) Lopez, David Alcoser, Albert Alcoser; her daughter, Lucy Lopez; her brother, Dr. Juan (Ida) Olivo Garcia; her step-sister, Delfina Ramirez; 13 grandchildren, 12, great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Alicia G. Ruiz is scheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
