Alvaro Tienda Gonsalez

Brownsville - Alvaro Tienda Gonsalez, 76, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Gonsalez was born May 16, 1944 in Mexico, son of Alfonso Tienda and Dorotea Gonzalez. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Alfonso Tienda.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Maria Gomez Tienda; his children, Ricardo Tienda (Sylvia Gonzalez), Gilberto Tienda, Alvaro Tienda Jr. (Elizabeth Renovato), Armando Tienda (Emma Cortina), Edgar Tienda (Anna), Aracely Tienda (Reynaldo Inguanzo); brother, Candelario Tienda;sisters, Graciela Gonzalez and Imelda Arenas. Also surviving him ar 13 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24, 2020 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m Rosary at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Burial Park in Brownsville.
