Anastacia Castellanos

Brownsville - Anastacia Castellanos, 80, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her residence in Brownsville.

Mrs. Castellanos was born May 2, 1943 in El Peyote, San Luis Potosi, Mexico daughter of Felipe Alfaro and Margarita Ramos Alfaro. She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Jose Matilde Alfaro and sisters, Margarita Alejandro and Marta Alfaro.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband of 56 years, Victor Castellanos; her sons, Victor Castellanos Jr. (Veronica), David Castellanos (Elizabeth), Daniel Castellanos (Sylvia); brothers, Joel Alfaro, Gabriel Alfaro, Jose Pilar Alfaro, Felipe Alfaro; sisters, Maria de Jesus Melgoza, Luisa Dominguez, Eulalia Friend. Also surviving her are 6 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville.Funeral chapel service is scheduled for 12:00 pm with interment to follow at Rose Lawn Burial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
