Andrea Cerda de Longoria

Brownsville - Andrea Cerda de Longoria, 78, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Mrs. Longoria was born November 10, 1942 in Ejido San Andres, Matamoros, Tamaulipas, daughter of Adolfo Cerda and Juana Castillo Villarreal. She is preceded in death by her husband, Noe Longoria Robles; her parents and a sister, Juana Fuentes Castillo.

Left to cherish her memories are her children, Cesar Noe Longoria (Graciela Velasquez), Nora Hilda Longoria, Alejandro Longoria (Laura Michelle); sister, Paula Fuentes Castillo. Also surviving her 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 2 pm to 8 pm with a rosary at 6 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel services is scheduled for Friday, September 3, 2021 at 10 am with interment to follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
