Andrea Vaiz

Edcouch- Andrea Vaiz, 94, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at her residence in Edcouch.

Mrs. Vaiz was born on November 30, 1929 to Mr. Fructoso Flores and Mrs. Petra Flores in Mexico.

Mrs. Vaiz is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Fructoso Flores and Mrs. Petra Flores; her loving husband, Julian Vaiz Sr.; her sons, Julian Vaiz Jr., Gilberto Vaiz; her daughters, Margarita Vaiz, Belen Vaiz; her son-in-law, Nick Ramirez; her brothers, Arturo Flores, Olivio Flores, Jose Flores and her sister, Antonia Bandin.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Rogelio (Enedelia) Vaiz, Ricardo (Frances) Vaiz, Juan (Diana) Vaiz; her daughters, Angelita Gonzalez, Rosa Maria (Eugenio) Reyna, Ermelinda (Ricardo) Gomez, Graciela (Ricardo) Cruz, Belen (Alberto) Torres, Paula Vaiz, Ida (Brett) Newman, Norma (Jaime) Garza; her brother, Santiago Flores; her sister, Angelita Casarez; 26 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Andrea Vaiz is scheduled for Sunday, May 26, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
