Andres Martinez

Elsa- Andres Martinez, 94, passed away to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Weslaco Nursing and Rehab Center in Weslaco.
He was born on February 4, 1928 to Mrs. Leonor Zuniga in Marlin, Texas.

Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his parents; his son: Geronimo Martinez; his brothers: Julian Martinez, Candelario Martinez, Hipolito Martinez; his sister: Enriquette Martinez.

Left to cherish his memories is his Wife: Marlen Martinez; his sons: Ruben (Rose) Martinez, Gilberto Martinez, Andres (Patricia) Martinez Jr., Daniel (Guadalupe) Martinez, Ricardo Martinez, Leonardo (Irma) Martinez; his daughter: Cruz (Manuel Alvarez) Martinez; his brother: Antonio Martinez; 23 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Andres Martinez is scheduled for Thursday, March 10, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
