Antonia Alegria

Donna- Antonia Alegria, 94, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence in Donna.

Mrs. Alegria was born on July 26, 1929 to Mr. Felipe Reyes and Mrs. San Juanita Ozuna Reyes in Rio Grande City, Texas.

Mrs. Alegria is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Felipe Reyes and Mrs. San Juanita Ozuna Reyes; her husband, Tomas Alegria; her sons, Eliseo Guerra, Jose Martinez; her brother, Pablo Reyes; her sisters, Guadalupe Hernandez and Aurora Quijas; her son-in-law, Fernando Mendez.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Elias (Imelda) Guerra, Armando Alegria, Arturo Alegria, Tomas Alegria Jr., Antonio Alegria, Arnoldo (Linda) Alegria; daughters, Elida Mendez, Elma Aguilar, Elisa (Victor) Maglio, Aurora (Jesus) Sahagun; her daughter-in-laws, Teresa Guerra and Evelyn Martinez and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Antonia Alegria are scheduled for Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass will held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
