Mercedes- Antonia Gonzalez, 66, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at her residence in Mercedes.

She was born on December 6, 1955 to Mr. Teofilo Gonzalez and Mrs. Margarita Monreal in Mexico.

Mrs. Gonzalez is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories is her son, Miguel Angel Gonzalez; her daughters, Elida (Felix) Lopez, Aurora (Eduardo) Lara, Lucia (Rogelio) Cantu, Tania (Roy) Lugo, Miriam Vanessa (Eric) Salazar; her brothers, Jose Angel Gonzalez, Alonso Gonzalez, Jorge Lauro Gonzalez, Juan Gerardo Gonzalez; her sister, Margarita Martell.

Visitation for Mrs. Antonia Gonzalez is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. A Chapel Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
