Brownsville - Antonio Ortiz, 59, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

He was born on December 13, 1960, to Mr. Pedro Ortiz and Cruz Sauceda in Matamoros, Tamaulipas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his son: Rene Ortiz; his brother: Humberto Ortiz and his sister Dora Vega.

Left to cherish Mr. Antonio Ortiz memories is his wife Maria J. Ortiz; his sons: Juan Antonio Ortiz (Miriam), Marquis Ortiz; his daughter: Maricruz Parra (Gamaliel); his brothers: Mario Ortiz, Pedro Ortiz, Jr., Raul Ortiz, Juan Jose Ortiz; his sisters: Oralia, Maria E. Ortiz; his nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Ortiz will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Visitation for Mr. Antonio Ortiz is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2020, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home — Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per Mr. Ortiz wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.
