Apolonio Ortiz

Alamo, Texas - Apolonio Ortiz, 83, passed away to be with the Lord on March 7, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Ortiz was born on April 10, 1939 in Alamo, TX. to Mr. Jose Ortiz & Mrs. Eluteria Ortiz.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers; Ramon Ortiz, Inocensio Ortiz, Bernadino Ortiz "Bolan'', and his sister Josefina Flores, his grandchild, Jose A. Cardona.

Apolonio Ortiz is survived by his loving wife, Elsa A. Ortiz, his sons; Omar Ortiz (Marisol), Orlando Ortiz (Leslie), his daughter, Oneida Ortiz (Manuel), his sisters; Elvira Salinas, Ester Trevino, and Paula Ortiz, his grand children; Omar Ortiz Jr. Angela P. Ortiz, Erick Ortiz, Aurora O. Ortiz, Orlando D. Ortiz, O'Ryan N. Ortiz, Ariel O. Ortiz, Karelly A. Cardona,and Jesus M. Cardona.

Visitation for Apolonio Ortiz is scheduled for Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Salinas Funeral Home Weslaco- Chapel of Grace with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, March 11,2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. As per his wishes, Mr. Ortiz will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
