Mr. Cavazos was born on September 27, 1966 to Mr. Arnoldo Cavazos and Mrs. Luz Desiga Cavazos in Weslaco, Texas.

Mr. Cavazos is preceded in death by his brother, Alonso Cavazos.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Violeta Barajas Cavazos; his sons, Armando Cavazos Jr., Androse Cavazos; his daughter, Avery (Jake) Sheridan; his parents, Mr. Arnoldo Cavazos and Mrs. Luz Desiga Cavazos; his brothers, Arnuldo Cavazos Jr., Ambrosio "Butch" Cavazos, Alejandro Cavazos, Adrian Cavazos; his sisters, Alma Cavazos Ortiz and Aimee Rivera.

Visitation for Mr. Armando Cavazos Sr. is scheduled for Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 5:09 pm to 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary both evenings at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Visitation will continue on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Progreso. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
