Armando Vasquez Sr.

Elsa- Armando Vasquez Sr., 89, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at his residence in Edinburg.

He was born on November 30, 1931 to Mr. Eulalio Vasquez and Mrs. Ester De Leon Vasquez in Progreso, Texas.

Mr. Vasquez is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife: Maria Angel Gonzalez Vasquez; his brothers: Jose Vasquez, Rene Vasquez; his sisters: Ofelia Sauceda and Estela Flores.

Left to cherish Mr. Armando Vasquez Sr. memories is his son: Armando (Teresa) Vasquez Jr.; his daughter: Olga Lydia Vasquez, Norma (Jaime) Perez, Nora Vasquez, Bilma (Javier) Hinojosa; his brothers: Hector Vasquez and Noe Vasquez; his sister Linda Vasquez; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Armando Vasquez Sr. is scheduled for Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Visitation will continue on Monday, March 1, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:30 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Angels. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
