Arturo Gonzalez

Elsa- Arturo Gonzalez Sr., 79, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.

He was born on September 1,1942 to Mr. Juan Gonzalez and Mrs. Guadalupe De Leon Gonzalez in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law: John M. Silva.

Left to cherish his memories is his wife: Tita Gonzalez; his sons: Juan J. (Flor) Gonzalez, Jorge (Maribel) Gonzalez, Arturo (Idalia) Gonzalez Jr.; his daughters: Esmeralda (Victor) Sandoval, Eva (Jesus) Martinez, Enedelia Gonzalez; his brothers: Juan M. Gonzalez, Ruben Gonzalez, Miguel Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, Arnulfo Gonzalez, Alfredo Gonzalez; his sisters: Maria E. Sandoval, Herlinda Ramos; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Arturo Gonzalez Sr. is scheduled on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 7, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
