Brownsville - Arturo Lopez Jr., 74, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Mr. Lopez was born June 29, 1949 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Arturo Lopez and Aurora Barcenas Lopez, He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sofia Rubio Lopez; his children, Griselda Reyna and Marisa Nunez. Also surviving him are 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
