Elsa- Arturo C. Trevino, 76, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.
Mr. Trevino was born on July 4, 1944 to Mr. Roberto A. Trevino and Mrs. Elvira Castellanos Trevino in La Porte, Indiana.
Mr. Trevino is preceded in death by his parents and his brother: Ricardo C. Trevino.
He is survived by his Loving Wife: Gloria Trevino; his sons: George L. (Cristina G.) Trevino & Roberto J. (Edith) Trevino; his daughter: Cynthia T. Briseno; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Trevino served in the US Army and was very patriotic and was an active member with Benito Alaniz VFW of Elsa. In 1982 Mr. Trevino opened his own business that is known today as ACT Business & Truck Permit Service. He loved giving back to the community and always thought of others before himself. Mr. Trevino loved his family very much and they meant the world to him. Mr. Trevino was very active in his church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa and served as a usher on Sunday's. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Visitation for Mr. Arturo C. Trevino is scheduled for Friday, June 18, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. Visitation will continue on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
