Calixta Moreno

Donna- Calixta Moreno, 94, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mrs. Moreno was born on October 14, 1929 to Mr. Concepcion Lucio and Mrs. Catalina Fraga Lucio in Mexico.

Mrs. Moreno is preceded in death her parents, Mr. Concepcion Lucio and Mrs. Catalina Fraga Lucio; her brother, Alberto Lucio; her sisters, Prajedes Moreno, Senaida Perez, Hermelinda Rivera, Socorro Rada; her son-in-laws, Jorge Gonzalez and David Zamarripa.

Left to cherish is memories are her loving husband, Hipolito Moreno; her sons, Israel (Frances) Moreno, Esequiel (Laura) Moreno, Hipolito (Patricia) Moreno Jr., Cruz Moreno; her daughters, Ofelia (Jose) Gomez, Audelia Moreno, Gloria (Raul Perez) Moreno, Maria Isabel (Miguel) Tovar, Criselda Zamarripa; her sister, Porfiria Armijo; 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Calixta Moreno is scheduled for Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens. A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
