Weslaco, Texas - Carlos Loya Flores, 69, passed away to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024 at Knapp Medical Center.

Mr. Carlos Loya Flores was born on November 4, 1954 in La Sierrita Tamualipas Mexico to Mr. Odocio Loya & Mrs. Virginia Loya Flores.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Odocio & Virginia Loya; 1 granddaughter, Camila Fe Martinez.

Carlos Loya Flores is survived by his wife, Maria Isabel Loya; one son, Carlos Loya, Jr. (Nina Baron); 5 daughters, Virginia Patlan (Javier); Carla Edith Loya, Arlene Loya, Shantal Guzman (David), Maria Isabel Martinez (Baldemar); 4 sisters, Evangelina Gonzalez, Evelia Cantu, Josefina Benitez & Norma Loya. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren & 1 great-grandson.

Visitation is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, Friday, March 15, 2024 with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco. A chapel service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes, TX.
