Weslaco- Carlos Jose Moreno, 24, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.

He was born on September 13, 1998 to Mr. Carlos Moreno and Ms. Monica Casas in Elkorn, Wisconsin.

Carlos is preceded in death by his brother, Matteo Simon Moreno.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Mr. Carlos Moreno and Ms. Monica Casas; his sisters, Marilu (Eliazar) Moreno Patino, Brianna Nicole Moreno, Marilyn Simone Moreno; his paternal grandparents; Mr. Francisco Moreno & Mrs. Mary Moreno; his maternal grandparents, Mr. Jose Santos Casas and Ms. Sandra Benavidez and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

C.J. was an amazing man, brother, and son. He loved wholeheartedly. He was the type of man who always put you first. He always helped anyone who needed it. He loved fishing, hunting, and welding. He impacted the lives of everyone who met him. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.

The Family of Carlos Jose Moreno will be receiving family and friends on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Mr. Carlos Jose Moreno will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
