Carolina Rangel

Donna, Texas - Carolina Rangel, 78, passed away to be with the Lord on September 15, 2023 peacefully at her residence.

Ms. Rangel was born on November 30, 1944 in Rodeo de San Antonio, Michoacan Mx. to Mr. Antonio Alonzo Bermudez & Mrs. Ramona Zarate Gutierrez.

She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her sister Elia Guadalupe Alonzo Zarate.

Carolina Rangel is survived by her sons Jose Manuel (Dalia) Rangel and Jose Jaime Rangel, her daughters Sandra Elizabeth Rangel and Diana Villanueva (Javier), her brothers Fermin Alonzo and Ramiro Alonzo Zarate, her sisters; Rosa Alonzo, Cristina Alonzo, Maria del Pilar Alonzo and Celia Alonzo. Also surviving her is her 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren and her fur baby whom she loved and adored, "Princess".

Visitation for Ms. Carolina Rangel is scheduled for Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, September 18,2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Donna. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
