Alamo, Texas - Catarino Cruz, 74, passed away to be with the Lord on March 3, 2024 peacefully at his residence.
Mr. Cruz was born on September 15, 1949 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Mr. Matias Cruz & Mrs. Antonia Ibarra.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, his brothers Tomas Cruz, Candido Cruz and Alberto Cruz, and his sister Eustolia Ratliff.
Catarino Cruz is survived by his wife San Juanita Cruz, his sons; Catarino Cruz Jr., Ernesto Alonso Cruz, Angel Antonio Alegria and Daniel Cruz, his daughters Sulema Rodriguez and Cristela Cruz, his brothers Ernesto Cruz and Ignacio Cruz, his sisters;Braulia Benavides, Ricarda Gamez and Rosa Cruz. Also surviving him are 24 granchildren.
Visitation for Catarino Cruz is scheduled for Tuesday, March 05, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco- Chapel of the Heavens. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Wednesday, March 06,2024 at 2:00 PM at Templo Lugar Para Cristo in Donna. As per his wishes, Mr. Cruz will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
