Diana (Alvarado) Herrera

Elsa- Diana Herrera, 69, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg.

Mrs. Herrera was born on August 15, 1953 to Mr. Dionicio Alvarado and Mrs. Aurora Valdez Alvarado in El Campo, Texas.

Mrs. Herrera is preceded in death his parents, Mr. Dionicio Alvarado and Mrs. Aurora Valdez Alvarado; her brothers, Damaso Alvarado, Juan (Maria de Jesusa) Alvarado.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Ricardo (Rosa) Herrera Jr., Edward (Linda Ortiz) Herrera; her daughter, Araceli (Manuel Torres) Herrera; her brothers, Jesus Alvarado, David (Kathy) Alvarado; her sister-in-law, Maria "Nina" Alvarado; her grandchildren, Cameron Torres, Kaleb Herrera, Ivan Herrera, Lilyana Herrera, Emma J. Herrera.

Visitation for Mrs. Diana Herrera is scheduled for Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:0 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. Interment will follow at Anauhac Community Cemetery in Edcouch.
