Mr. de Chavez was born on March 5, 1930 to Mr. Benjamin de Chavez and Mrs. Cecilia Belen de Chavez in Albay, Phillippines.
Mr. de Chavez is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Benjamin de Chavez and Mrs. Cecilia Belen de Chavez; his brother, Benjamin de Chavez Jr.; his sister, Corazon Guizon.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife, Virginia Alcuaz de Chavez; his sons, Ferdinand (Elizabeth) Alcuaz de Chavez, Frederick (Milagros) Alcuaz de Chavez, Andrew (Leah Marie) Alcuaz de Chavez, Angelo (Vivian) Alcuaz de Chavez; his daughters, Maria Cecilia (Jaime Mendoza) Alcuaz de Chavez, Maria Teresa (Danilo) Alcuaz de Chavez Virrey; 26 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mr. Domingo Belen de Chavez is scheduled for Friday, March 24, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of Grace in Weslaco. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
