Brownsville - Edgar Alberto Martinez, 50, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025 in Brownsville.

Mr. Martinez was born June 25, 1974 in Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Guadalupe Martinez Castillo and Angela Maldonado Huerta

He is survived by his wife, Ma de Jesus Garcia Martinez; his children, Edgar Alberto Martinez Jr., Eduardo Martinez, Evelyn Paola Martinez, Mario Alberto Martinez; his parents; brothers, Fabian Martine, Angel Martinez and sister, Maribel Mendoza. Also surviving him are 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. A funeral chapel service is scheduled for Friday, April 11, 2025 at 12 noon with interment to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
