Eduviges Valdez

San Benito - Eduviges Valdez, 63, passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen.

Mrs. Valdez was born February 25, 1960 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, daughter of Guadalupe Valdez and Guadalupe Estrada. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Juan De Leon; sons, Juan Carlos De Leon (Magalie), Emanuel De Leon (Crystal), Samuel De Leon; daughters, Claudia Ramirez (Andres), Esmeralda De Leon (Noe), Cynthia De Leon (Jorge), Karen De Leon (Francisco). Also surviving her are 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
