La Villa- Elena Lopez, 83, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She was born on June 2, 1938 to Mr. Refugio Montelongo and Mrs. Victoria Sustaita Montelongo in Mexico.
Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Refugio Montelongo and Mrs. Victoria Sustaita Montelongo; her Loving Husband: Jose Guillermo Lopez Sr.; her sons: Juan Lopez & Hector Lopez; her daughter: Norma (Jose Luis) Carabez.
Left to cherish her memories is her sons: Jose Guillermo (Karla) Lopez Jr., Rolando Lopez, Jose Raul Lopez, Ubaldo Lopez; her daughters: Rosa (Jesus) Torres, Yolanda Castillo, Maria Victoria Carabez, Petra (Hesham) Elnahal, Olivia (Laco Jr.) Villarreal, Maria del Carmen (Eduardo) Garza, Elva Maria (John) Garcia; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Mrs. Elena Lopez is scheduled for Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm with Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 8:00 am to 10:30 am at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
