Elida Cantu

Edcouch- Elida Cantu, 60, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2024 at Windsor Nursing Home in Edinburg.

Ms. Cantu was born on August 26, 1963 to Mr. Domingo Cantu and Mrs. Isidra "Rita" Cantu in Edcouch, Texas.

Ms. Cantu is preceded in death by her parents.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Iain Guy; her daughter, Rita Ashley Guy; her brothers, Josue (Noelia) Rivas, Leonel (Connie) Cantu, Everardo (Rosie) Cantu, Cruz Tomas (Mary Lou) Cantu, Rey (Nina) Cantu, Rogelio (Oneida) Cantu; her sisters, Noemi (Jose) Trevino, Irene (Eddie) Salinas, Beatriz (Gus) Molina, Elizabeth (Eddie) Aguilar, Yolanda (Bobby) De la Fuente, Aminta (Juan) De la Fuente and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Elida Cantu is scheduled for Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 19,2024 at 10:00 am at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Edcouch. As per her wishes, she will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
