Eliseo Ruiz

Brownsville - Eliseo Ruiz, 71, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville.

Mr. Ruiz was born August 4, 1949 in Brownsville, Texas, son of Gregorio Ruiz and Amelia Aramburu Ruiz. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Guadalupe Ruiz, Noe Ruiz and Gregorio Ruiz.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Claudia Alvarado (Eric), Gabriel Ruiz, Eddie Ruiz (Natalia); brothers, Ismael Ruiz, Pablo Ruiz, Rene Ruiz and Praxedes Ruiz. Also surviving him are 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Mr. Ruiz served in the US Army and was a Vietnam Veteran.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
