La Villa- Eliza Salazar, 87, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in Edcouch, Texas.
Ms. Salazar was born on April 18, 1936, to Mr. Luz Salazar and Mrs. San Juana Cavazos Salazar in Edcouch, Texas.
Ms. Salazar is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Luz Salazar and Mrs. San Juana Cavazos Salazar; her brother, Carlos (Maria) Salazar; her sister, Maria Ransom; her sisters-in-law, Maria Salazar, Leonarda Salazar, Maria De La Luz Salazar; her brother-in-law, Heberto Garza.
Left to cherish her memories are her brothers, Luz (Eva) Salazar, Placido Salazar, Alejos Salazar, her sister, Fidela Garza. Also, very dear to Ms. Eliza Salazar heart are, Gabriel Silva, Herbert Fernandez, Celina Vargas & Sharron Stites-Humphreys.
Ms. Salazar will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
Visitation for Ms. Eliza Salazar is scheduled for Monday, July 24, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Our Lady de Guadalupe Catholic Church in La Villa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
