Mercedes- Emilio Rodriguez, 95, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at his residence in Mercedes, Texas.

He was born on September 18, 1925, to Mr. Gregorio Rodriguez and Mrs. Josefa Rodriguez in Mexico.

Mr. Rodriguez is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Juanita Rodriguez and his sisters: Elvira Rodriguez and Guadalupe Rodriguez.

Left to cherish his memories is his son: Armando (Yadira) Rodriguez; his daughters: Norma (Juan Gonzalez) Rodriguez, Maricela (Martin Olalio) Rodriguez; his brother Gregorio Rodriguez; his sister Victoriana Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Emilio Rodriguez is scheduled for Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Anauhac Cemetery in Edcouch.
