Encarnacion Sosa

Brownsville - Encarnacion "Chon" Sosa, 74, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Valley Baptist Medical Center.

Mr. Sosa was born February 18, 1946, son of Guadalupe Sosa and Maria Del Pilar Gomez Sosa. He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jose "Joe" Francisco Sosa and Jose Angel Sosa.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Anna M. Desjardins (Tony), Christine M. Salinas, Gabriel E. Sosa (Sandra), Daniel S. Sosa (Susan), Diana M. Little (Billy), Angelina M. Pate; mother of his children, Juanita R. Combs; life companion, Carmen De La Cruz; siblings, Guadalupe
"Lupito" Sosa Jr., Maria Luisa "Mary" Sosa de Banda, Epimenio "Pime" Sosa, Maria Elena "Nena" Sosa de Molano, Maria Del Carmen Sosa de Lucio, Juan Sosa, Juan Manuel Sosa' step-children, Fernando De La Cruz, Maria Fernanda De La Cruz, Mario De La Cruz. Also surviving him are 15 grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 10, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m A Celebration of Life will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville.
