Weslaco- It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Erick Dominguez, beloved husband, father, and friend, who left this world on March 17, 2025, at the age of 49. Erick was born on June 17, 1975 in Mexico City and resided in Weslaco, Texas. He is survived by his devoted wife, Alicia Dominguez, who stood by his side through all of life's joys and challenges.

Also surviving him is his son Jon Erick Dominguez, daughter Karina Dominguez, His Parents Noe & Rosa Dominguez, his three brothers Juan Carlos (Elizabeth), Emilio, & Noe, Jr. Erick will also be lovingly missed by the Santiago family Francisco (San Juanita) Santiago, and their children, Frank (Marcy), Luis, Joan (Abel), Michael (Rocio) Albert (Ruth), Veronica (Miguel), and Jacob (Melissa), and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Erick will always be remembered for his faith in God, the love for his wife, children, and family, and his contagious sense of humor and joy.

Erick was a man of deep faith and devotion to God, serving as a worship leader in his community. He possessed a remarkable talent for music, showcasing his incredible voice and skillful guitar playing. His passion for the arts extended beyond music; he was an accomplished woodworker, creating beautiful pieces that reflected his creativity and dedication.

A true Dallas Cowboys fan, Erick found joy in gathering with friends and family to cheer for his favorite team. He loved spending time outdoors, whether he was fishing or cycling, and often shared his adventures with those he cherished. Known for his great sense of humor, Erick had the remarkable ability to make those around him smile, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met.

As we celebrate the life of Erick Dominguez, funeral services will be held in his honor. Visitation for Erick Dominguez is scheduled on Thursday, March 20,2025 at Rio Life Community Church in Mercedes (1112 S. Rio Rico Rd.) from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, March 21,2025 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM on both days at Rio Life Community Church (1112 S. Rio Rico Rd.). A Funeral Service is scheduled on Saturday, March 22,2025 at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Erick's legacy of love, faith, and joy will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who loved him. He will be dearly missed, but his memory will forever remain a guiding light for those he leaves behind.
