She was born on March 4, 1949 to Mr. Policarpio Vasquez and Mrs. Maria de Jesus Longoria in Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Jose Garcia; her son: Marco Antonio Garcia.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons: Jose (Delia) Garcia, Juan Carlos Garcia; her brothers: Enrique Vasquez; her sisters: Eloisa Sanchez, Elvia Loera.

Visitation for Mrs. Ermelinda Vasquez de Garcia is scheduled for Monday, August 23, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. A Chapel Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 10:00 am at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
