Brownsville â Esperanza Leguizamo Salgado, 95, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Mrs. Salgado was born December 7, 1925, in Teloloapan, Guerrero, Mexico, daughter of Manuel Leguizamo and Leonor Salgado. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlos Geronimo Martinez; brothers, Humberto Leguizamo, Manuel Leguizamo; sisters, Angela Leguizamo and Anita Leguizamo.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Carlos Martinez, Alejandro Martinez, Patricia Paredes, Aurelio Martinez. Also surviving her are 22 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2020, from 4 p.m. from 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary at Salinas Funeral Home â Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be held Friday, October 2, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home â Chapel of the Heavens. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
