Brownsville- Eugenia R. Torres, 72, passed away to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her residence in Brownsville.

Mrs. Torres was born on October 20, 1947 to Mr. Eugenio Rodriguez & Cipriana Liendo Rodriguez in Brownsville, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her sons: Jose Rodriguez & Alberto Torres and her sister Maria Trinidad Salas.

Left to cherish her memories is her husband Rene Hinojosa; her sons: Ivan Torres & Juan (Maria Puga) Rodriguez; her daughters: Ruby Torres & Velma Lyla Martinez; her sister Maria Antonia (Pedro) Covarrubias; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Eugenia R. Torres is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2020 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home of Brownsville- Chapel of the Heavens. As per Mrs. Torres wishes she will be cremated at a later date.
