Profr. Federico Martinez Garcia

Brownsville - Profr. Federico Martinez Garcia, 60, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Valley Regional Medical Center.

Profr. Martinez Garcia was born March 2, 1963 in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico, son of Santiago Martinez and Virginia Garcia Martinez. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Profr. Laura Martinez; his children, Erick, Edgar y Alexia and Arely and Daniel. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Diego, Natalia and Osirix. Surviving him also are his brothers, sisters and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 om at Salinas Funeral Home -Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville. A funeral chapel service will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 5:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 pm. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
