Fernando Gonzalez Sr.

Elsa- Fernando Gonzalez, 58, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at his residence in Elsa.

Mr. Gonzalez was born on May 5, 1966 to Mr. Guillermo Gonzalez Sr. and Mrs. Lydia Reyna Gonzalez in Weslaco, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his father, Mr. Guillermo Gonzalez Sr. and his niece, Christina Noelani Ramos.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, Fernando (Lianna Ayala) Gonzalez Jr., Orlando Gonzalez; his daughter, Rose Mary Gonzalez; mother of children; Rosa Calderon; his mother, Lydia R. Gonzalez; his brother, Guillermo Gonzalez Jr.; his sisters, Dinora Gonzalez, SanJuanita G. Ramos; his grandson, Michael Montalvo III and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Fernando Gonzalez is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. Visitation will continue on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home -Chapel of the Heavens in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. As per his wishes, he will be cremated at a later date at Val Verde Memorial Gardens Crematory in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
