Fernando Guajardo Sr.

Weslaco - Fernando Guajardo Sr., 77, passed away Monday, February 21, 2023 at McAllen Medical Center.

Mr. Guajardo was born May 30, 1945 in Weslaco, Texas, son of Gregorio Guajardo and Benita Ovalle Guajardo. He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Samuel Guajardo and a sister Delia Alvarado.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Fernando Guajardo Jr. (Sonia), Delilah G. Tafolla (Ricardo), Gregorio Guajardo' brothers, Gregorio Guajardo Jr, Felix Guajardo;sister, Juana Reyes. Also surviving him are his grandchildren, Fernando Guajardo III, Marlene Palomin, Deidra Tafolla, Joshua Guajardo, GregorioGuajardo Jr., Samuel Guajardo, Rosemary Guajardo and 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. Funeral mass is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park.

Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Weslaco.
