George F. Rivera

Edcouch- George F. Rivera, 85, passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, January 25, 2022 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissances in Edinburg.

He was born on January 12, 1937 to Mr. Pedro Rivera and Mrs. Juliana Farias Rivera in Elsa, Texas.

Mr. Rivera is preceded in death by his parents; his brother: Inez Rivera; his sisters: Ruby Salinas and Noelia Yracheta.

Left to cherish his memories is his Loving Wife: Maria Rivera; his sons: George (Maria Angelica) Rivera Jr., Mark A. Rivera; his daughters: Thelma Rivera, Sonia (Michael) Rivera- Flores, Dinorah J. Molina; his brother: Pedro Rivera; his sisters: Mary Rivas, Ana Sauceda, Lupita Rivera, Janie Hopper, Leonor Ramsey, Ida Montalvo, Julia Elwood; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. George F. Rivera is scheduled for Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
