Gilbert H Moreno

Elsa- Gilbert H. Moreno, 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mr. Moreno was born on September 15, 1946 to Mr. Leandro R. Moreno and Mrs. Antonia H. Gomez Moreno in Ballinger, Texas.

Mr. Moreno is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Leandro R. Moreno and Mrs. Antonia H. Gomez Moreno; his wife, Maria Juanita Herrera Moreno; his son, Michael Moreno; his sisters, Carolyn Prado & Hermelinda Garcia.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Nicholas Moreno; his daughter, Christina (Noe Guerra) Moreno; his brother, Tony Moreno; his sister, Kathy Martinez; his grandchildren, Nicholas Moreno Jr., Noe Guerra III, Leeroy L. Guerra, Alyssa Guerra, Aixa Guerra; his great-grandchildren, Giana N. Cardenas, Adelynn Guerra, Ailani Resendez, Anissa Guerra, Emery Guerra, Julissa Martinez, Brandon Guerra, Xavier Martinez.

Visitation for Mr. Gilbert H. Moreno is scheduled for Monday, June 19, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapels of the Angels. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsa. Interment will follow at 2:00 pm at Rio Grande Valley Veterans Cemetery in Mission, Texas.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Elsa.
