Gloria M. Vera

Los Fresnos— Gloria M. Vera, 87, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at her residence in Los Fresnos. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.

Mrs. Vera was born February 3, 1933, in Mexico, daughter of Hilario Montalvo and Quintina Andrade. She is preceded in death by her husband, Everardo V. Vera; her parents, her son-in-law, Rodrigo Rodriguez; 2 grandsons, Michael Edward Vera and Rodrigo Rodriguez II.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Janie Rodriguez, Everardo Vera Jr., Mario X. Vera (Lupita), Claudia Vera; brothers, Hilario Montalvo, Hector Montalvo; sister Delia Cedillo. Also surviving her are 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildrren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Rosary at Salinas Funeral home - Chapel of the Heavens in Brownsville, Funeral mass will be on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
