Graciela Martinez

Edcouch- Graciela Martinez, 81, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 12, 2023 at Edinburg Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Martinez was born on March 10, 1942 to Mr. Viviano Gonzalez and Mrs. Rafaela Vela Gonzalez in Primera, Texas.

Mrs. Martinez is preceded in death by her parents; Mr. Viviano Gonzalez and Mrs. Rafaela Vela Gonzalez; her brother, Jose Gonzalez; her sisters, Hortencia Garza, Nemencia Cortez, Sylvina Gonzalez; her sons-in-law, Jaime Quijano, Erasmo Alejo.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, David Martinez Jr., Gerardo (Angela Lara) Martinez; her daughters, Maribel Quijano, Norma Martinez, Esmeralda Martinez; her sisters, Enriqueta De Leon, Cecilia Gonzalez, Angelica Lewis; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Graciela Martinez is scheduled for Sunday, October 15,2023 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Heavens in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 16, 2023 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
