Brownsville - Gregorio Arevalo Puente, 83, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Valley Baptist Medical Center.
Mr. Arevalo Puente was born May 9, 1937, in Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, son of Eduardo Arevalo and Sabas Puente. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Carlos and Matilde Arevalo; sisters, Chana Aguilar and Juana Arevalo.
Surviving him are his children, Ismael Arevalo (Ernestina), Rosa Elia Banda (Juan), Martha Arevalo, Rosario Arevalo (Reyes), Sergio Arevalo (Mireida), Angelica Walls (Thomas), Alma Valdez (Jose Raul); brother, Joel Arevalo; sister, Francisca Arevalo. Also surviving him are 23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. Prayer Service at Salinas Funeral Home — Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be on Friday, July 24, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Salinas Funeral Home — Chapel of the Angels. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Burial Park.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
