Weslaco, Texas - Guadalupe Cervantes, 85, passed away to be with the Lord on February 17, 2025.
Mr. Cervantes was born on February 8, 1940 in La Haciendita Guanajuato Mexico to Mr. Juan Cervantes & Rita Diaz.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Evangelina Cervantes & one son, Guadalupe Cervantes, Jr.
Guadalupe Cervantes is survived by three sons, Jose Luis Mejia (Lisa Ann Leonard), Armando Cervantes, Jesus Cervantes; three daughters, Lupita Cervantes, Elvira Cervantes & Maria Elena Perez. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Guadalupe Cervantes is scheduled for Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of Grace with a Holy Rosary at 6:00 PM. A 10:00 AM Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2025 at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
