Brownsville - Guadalupe Cortez, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Solara Hospital in Brownsville.
Mr. Cortez was born in Brownsville, Texas, son of Jesus Cortez and Irene Garza. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Oliverio Cortez and sister-in-law Adelina Cortez. Also surviving him are his nephews and nieces, Diana Cortez, Irene Cortez, Oliverio Cortez Jr. and Jesus Cortez.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service at Salinas Funeral Home-Chapel of the Angels in Brownsville. Funeral chapel service will be on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. followed by interment at Rose Lawn Burial Park.
Funeral services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home in Brownsville.
