Guadalupe F. Garza

Elsa - Guadalupe F. Garza, 97, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Weslaco.

Mr Garza was born January 14, 1926 in Yorktown, Texas, son of Jose Rafael Garza and Cecilia Flores Garza. He is preceded in death by his wife, Esther B. Garza; his parents; his daughter Elizabeth Garza; brothers, Antonio F. Garza, Aurelio F. Garza; sisters, Juventina G. Pineda, Jovita Garza.. Pilar Garza and Maria M. G. Dailey.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Sylvia Garza and Antonio B. Garza (Mary); his brother, Jose Garza (Gloria) and a sister Josefina G. Cano (Joe). Also surviving him are his 7 grandchildren, Cecelia Garza, Brendon Serek Alvarez, Alejandro Cezar Alvarez, Amber Denise Garza, Kayla Lizanne Garza, Tamara Dezarae Garza and Danika Kellinda Garza.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home - Chapel of the Angels in Elsa. Funeral chapel service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park at 11:00 am
