Hazel Castaneda

Weslaco- Hazel Amber Castañeda, 19, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Laguna Vista, Texas.

Hazel was born on December 6, 2004 to Mr. Daniel Castañeda and Sonia Castañeda in McAllen, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Ciro Aldape; her paternal grandparents, Alberto D. Castañeda & Maria Elena Castañeda.

Left to cherish her memories are her son, Gian De Angelo Garcia; her daughter, Elaina Grace Garcia; her parents, Mr. Daniel Castañeda and Mrs. Sonia Castañeda; her brothers, Daniel Castañeda Jr., Dante' Gambler Castañeda; her sister & best friend, Kyanee Danielle Castañeda; her maternal grandmother, Ofelia Aldape. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles & cousins.

Hazel was a very compassionate person who loved animals. She was very protective and had a fearless soul, just like her father & her uncle, Ray+. She will be missed greatly by all who loved and knew her.

Visitation for Hazel Amber Castañeda is scheduled for Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 6:00 pm followed by a Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Salinas Funeral Home- Chapel of the Angels in Weslaco. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday, November 18, 2024 at 11:00 am at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to Salinas Funeral Home of Weslaco.
